PYRA arrived with a double EP and a local fanbase in Thailand — and a Western press landscape that had no existing frame of reference for her. The campaign had two jobs running simultaneously: introduce her to UK and US media from scratch, and reframe the double EP as a cohesive album-length statement rather than two separate releases.
The second part mattered as much as the first. How a project is packaged shapes how press engages with it. Pitching a double EP to outlets like NME or The Independent requires a different editorial angle than pitching a debut album — the narrative around the work had to be built deliberately.
15 placements followed, including NME, Paper Magazine, Metal, and The Independent, reaching an estimated 500K. For an artist with no prior Western press presence, that's a foundation.
