Case Study: Slow J

Portugal / Hip-hop

Not every campaign is a full press cycle. Sometimes the brief is specific: one show, one moment, one outlet. The work is making sure that moment gets the coverage it deserves.

Slow J had sold out the MEO Arena in Lisbon – one of Portugal's largest venues – with an audience that knew exactly who he was. The UK didn't. The campaign had a single objective: get a London-based journalist to Lisbon, and get the coverage placed in a publication that mattered to Western audiences.

Clash covered it. An interview and a live review – two features that put Slow J in front of a UK readership for the first time, framed around the scale of what he was already doing at home.
